With training, you can learn to break free from the status quo of your life and reimagine + enact new possibilities. Through the systematic use of movement, intense breath, mantra, relaxation, and meditation, Rebel Human Way builds your resilience, awareness, discernment, sense of connection, and ability to transcend self-limiting thoughts and behaviors. Each class is unique but follows a consistent structure that you can rest into: Warm-up. Resilience Training. Equanimity Training. Relaxation. Transcendence Training. Class Details: Warm-ups -This is a series of movements both seated and on hands and knees that carefully wake-up the body. These warm-ups are done with the eyes closed. This gives us the opportunity to not only warm-up the tissues and ease into a greater range of motion, but to mindfully explore our boundaries of safe movement. Resilience training -This is a unique and innovative approach to challenge you physically and mentally. Here we integrate repetitive movement with powerful yogic breathwork, inspired music, and mind-mastery techniques. Equanimity -You will be guided through simple poses with longer holds in an effort to give yourself some challenge, while cultivating calm awareness. This retrains the nervous system to remain calm while under pressure. You will observe your thoughts and sensations with a neutral mind. Relaxation -This is when your body and brain integrates all the work it just did. You will lay down for seven minutes while the sound of crystal singing bowls and gong aide this processing. Transcendence -You will learn techniques that shift your mindset and get you to a place where you can observe your thoughts and feelings without fear and judgement. This is where you connect with your ability to see things clearly, without illusion.
